Cosimo de Medici ™

Cosimo de Medici ™
A Spring Summer melody of citrus vegetal. Torn tomoato-leaf, sage, verbena, white grapefruit and a finish of subtle peppery mint. This aroma truly uplifts and cleanses the air with its nuances of bright and bold notes. Most certainly not a wallflower aroma.
Inspired by actual events (allegedly).
Cosimo de Medici was an Italian Nobleman, banker and politician who enjoyed his gilded life from 1389 to 1464. A dedicated patron of the Arts, he spent over 600,000 gold florins (approx $500 million dollars) on art and culture, including Donatello’s David, the first freestanding nude male scuplture.
It is alleged that whilst on a trip to Spain, he collected multiple varieties of tomato plants. Carefully preserved in their original soils, he safely delivered them back to Italy and became the custodian of a coveted tomato garden in the hills of Florence.
This was the jumping off point for my striking Cosimo Candle. Bold tomato leaf and herbaceous greens with torn mint and verbena to accent it’s symphony in green.
