“The world changed in 2020 forever. Which is almost a redundant sentence. We know and we have lived through it. There was one day in April 2020, when I walked along the Regents Canal to my studio. The 77 studios in the building were shuttered apart from three. Four when I opened mine. I turned my focus away from self and looked at what I could do outside of my artistic pursuits.

Adelaide Koala Rescue (Adelaide Australia)

The wonderful team at the Adelaide Koala rescue formed during the horrific wildfires that ravaged Australia in December and January (2020-2021). We made a small campaign with all profits dedicated to helping the tragic little bears that tried their hardest to scuttle in slow-moving gusto from the fires. Rescued with charred little paws the Adelaide volunteers scooped them up and took them to safety.

Black Lives Matter

Nobody can deny that through adversity a spotlight has been placed upon issues that demand mandatory attention. We dedicated two funds to charities affiliated to funding Black Lives Matter. It was quite important to ensure that we didn’t fund short-term goals and rather looked back to where funds could be directed to make a difference from the beginning so that open minds can be changed.
